Position: Cleaner – NHS Somerset – 105a Preston Road, Yeovil, Somerset (BA20 2DZ)

Salary: £26,438.07 pro‑rata (40‑hour week), £12.71/hour.

Hours: 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am‑8:30am.

The Role

Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day‑to‑day routine and ad‑hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures. This consumer‑facing role will require you to deliver a high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.

  • Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public.
  • Comfortable working independently to your own initiative as well as being part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of customer service.
  • Previous experience within a commercial cleaning environment is an advantage but not required – full training and support will be provided.
