Norse Group are a lead facilities management services provider built on a foundation of joint ventures with Local Government partners. We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Works Coordinator to join our team at our Head Office in Norwich on a full-time basis.

Role Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative, planning and support services to an in-house team of Maintenance Engineers and Sub-Contractors for a new private retail client.
  • Responding to work requests, allocating work to the internal maintenance providers, external contractors, or other Norse teams in a timely manner.
  • Raising purchase orders for materials and external contractors, receipting related invoices.
  • Monitoring work requests to ensure satisfactory conclusion and ensuring system information is accurate and current.
  • Delivery of the full works order lifecycle for reactive & PPM work for internal and external contractors, ensuring work is effectively allocated, delivered and closed correctly within agreed timelines.
  • Providing administrative support in processing the provision of the required financial information to colleagues for client invoicing.
  • Purchasing materials and arranging delivery on correct dates to correct locations.
  • Monitoring the tracking of client projects and PPM schedules and providing accurate progress updates to clients.
  • Assisting the management with the prioritisation of work across the client’s portfolio.

Our Successful Candidate

  • Experience of working in a customer facing role.
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and information databases.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in Building Maintenance Provision.
