The salary for this role is £27,001.58 pro rata which equates to £13.31 per hour + 28 days paid holiday entitlement.
The Opportunity:
- Permanent
- 30 hours per week
- Mon – Fri, 8am- 2pm
- Term-time only position, working 38 weeks per year, offering a great work-life balance
- Pay will be pro rata, receiving 1/12th of salary every month regardless of school holidays
A Day In The Life:
You will become an integral part of the school, managing the kitchen team, preparing, cooking and serving lunches for young people and school staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive dining experience for all.
Our central team will support you in managing food safety, health and safety and food allergens whilst our dedicated menu, promotions and compliance teams will provide menu cycles, special diet menus and promotional posters giving you time to focus on food.
Our electronic tablet will provide you with access to our kitchen management system and act as a communication tool providing regular updates and keeping paperwork to a minimum.
What are we looking for from you?
You will have previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment with an organised approach, alongside a good understanding of the food industry, costs and working to a set budget.
A passion for delivering fantastic customer service is essential, and we will be looking for you to demonstrate strong communication skills with an adaptable approach to work.
