Norse Transport Division are currently seeking an experienced Passenger Assistant to work at our depot based in Norwich. You will work alongside the Minibus Driver to transport our vulnerable children and adults to and from their destinations, supporting their wellbeing, providing a caring tailored service and ensuring a successful journey. This role is on a casual basis to cover staff sickness and absences.

Role details: The role involves working on a casual basis to cover staff sickness and absences. Shifts will be between Monday and Friday and will include a Morning and Afternoon shift each working day, in line with school drop off and pick up times.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Minibus Driver to transport vulnerable children and adults to and from their destinations, supporting their wellbeing and providing a caring tailored service.
  • Assist with the safety and comfort of passengers during journeys.
  • Assist with securing items in the minibus and lifting wheelchairs as required.
