South West Norse is established in delivering catering, cleaning, and facilities management services to a portfolio of clients in the local region in partnership with Devon County Council, combining local knowledge with service delivery expertise. You will be joining multiple on‑site kitchen teams, supporting all aspects of the catering service including ensuring completion of the preparation, cooking, presentation and service of our nutritious food and beverage outlets to students and staff while complying with food hygiene, health and safety and QA procedures. This customer facing role will provide you with great exposure to all aspects of the catering environment with lots of opportunities to learn and develop your skills within the industry.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

  • Support all aspects of catering service: preparation, cooking, presentation and service of food and beverage outlets.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety and QA procedures.
  • Work effectively in a mobile kitchen team across the Exeter and South Devon area.
  • Possess previous catering experience or be willing to be trained.
  • Provide friendly and polite customer service.
  • Work to deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Collaborate within a team.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have business use insurance.
