Cleaner – Venture House, Sowton – South West Norse
- Location: Exeter, Devon – EX2 7FW
- Salary: £13.46 per hour (pro rata £27,996.80)
- Hours per week: 10 hpw
- Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 4:30pm to 6:30pm
South West Norse, a partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivers commercial cleaning, catering and facilities management services.
Role
As both an independent worker and a team member, you will carry out day‑to‑day routine and ad‑hoc cleaning services as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor. You will maintain hygiene and customer‑service standards for the facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks and ad‑hoc duties as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Maintain high hygiene levels and safety standards across all communal areas.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and the public.
Qualifications
- Experience in a commercial cleaning environment is an advantage; full training is provided.
- Ability to work to defined standards in a quality‑driven environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of customer‑service orientation.
