The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.
A production operative will be responsible for their daily production output, including masking of components, loading of jigging, carrying out and monitoring the electroplating/anodizing processes in accordance with processing requirements. Ensuring any issues are raised to the team leaders and value stream managers and carrying out basic quality checks in process. There will be a need to liaise daily with other members of the team(s).
Scope of Responsibility
- Responsible for your own output to achieve set targets
- Ensuring the work area is kept clean and tidy
- Conforming to all compliance requirements involved in processing components
- Masking of components using various techniques from brush to tape applications
- Loading of components onto jigging
- Setting and monitoring key process parameters such as voltage temperatures
- Completion of all required documentation involved in the process
- Carry out basic quality checks on components during process
- Responsible for direct staff return to work interviews within the shift the staff member has returned to work and relevant paperwork is submitted
- Liaising with value stream managers to resolve problems affecting process
- Ensuring processes and equipment are shut down and left in a safe and environmentally friendly state
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with customer specifications, regulations, manuals, procedures and company policy
