Specialty Doctor - Inpatient Psychiatry 1 year Fixed Term Contract

Location: ROSE Ward, Springfield University Hospital, 15 Springfield Drive, London, SW17 0YF, Tooting.

Rose ward is an inpatient ward based at Springfield University Hospital, part of the Trust’s Acute and Urgent Care Service Line, which includes 8 acute adult wards and a PICU. The ward is a newly opened ward for acutely mixed gender (male and female) patients for short stays. It opened in June 2026.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Specialty Doctor, preferably with S12 approval, to join our team. To be successful, candidates are expected to have completed:

  • 2 years of Foundation studies (FY1 and FY2)
  • 2 years at Core trainee level (CT1 and CT2)

The appointment will be at a grade based on qualifications and experience, initially for 12 months, with the possibility of extension by mutual agreement.
