Salary: £45,091.00 per annum pro rata (Actual £27,054.60 per annum based on 22.5hrs per week)
Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027 subject to funding (with possibility of extension, subject to funding)

About Hub Cymru Africa
Established in 2015, Hub Cymru Africa (HCA) is a partnership bringing together Fair Trade Wales, Cymru Global, Sub-Sahara Advisory Panel, and Global Health Partnerships Cymru. Together, we deliver key parts of the Welsh Government’s Wales and Africa programme and other international development work across Wales, underpinned by principles of global solidarity and partnership. Hosted by the Sub‑Sahara Advisory Panel, Hub Cymru Africa supports civil society organisations, diaspora‑led initiatives, and community groups working to build fairer and more sustainable futures between Wales, Africa, and beyond.
About the Role
We strengthen the capacity and improve the quality of groups and organisations directly involved in international solidarity work in Wales. We support a cohesive and vibrant international development sector for Wales. We’re recruiting a Senior Development Support Manager to work as part of the team delivering Hub Cymru Africa’s development support, mentoring and training activities across Wales. You will ensure that individuals and groups within the Wales Africa sector access a programme of training, learning and information sharing, promoting partnership working and anti‑racist practice. You will lead a small team of part‑time Development Support Managers who work throughout Wales. Specific leadership responsibilities are allocated within these roles. We’re a flexible and supportive team with an office in the centre of Cardiff. This position can be based anywhere in Wales, though you will sometimes be expected to travel for meetings and events.
