South West Durham Training is looking to appoint an Apprenticeship KSB Coordinator to support apprentices undertaking Engineering and Manufacturing apprenticeship programmes.

The successful candidate will coach, support and assess apprentices throughout their programme, helping them to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours they need to succeed. You will work closely with apprentices and employers, monitoring progress, supporting learning plans, arranging reviews and preparing apprentices for Gateway and End Point Assessment.

We are looking for someone with relevant vocational and industry experience, ideally within Engineering or Manufacturing, together with experience of coaching and assessing people. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to motivate and engage people of all ages, and a flexible and proactive approach to your work. An assessor qualification such as Level 3 TAQA or equivalent is also required.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting apprentices to achieve their potential and develop the skills needed for their future careers.

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
