An excellent opportunity to be part of the small, friendly SWCA apprenticeships team delivering the EAL Level 3 Installation & Maintenance and Domestic Electrical qualification, providing training and assessment to electrical apprentices. Also delivering courses to adult electricians; Inspection & Testing, 18th Edition, EESS etc. SWCA focuses on quality of delivery and so cohorts are no more than 12 students.

Working Week:
- Hours per week: 35
- Teaching Days: 3 days per week (apprentices)
- Prep & Site assessment: 2 days per week
- Adult courses at specific times
- Days & Core hours: Monday to Friday 08.00am to 4.00pm
Core responsibilities:
- Training & assessing
- Deliver a high quality level of teaching to electrical apprentices and electricians.
- Liaising with the Curriculum Leader to facilitate efficient assessment processes for learners.
- To plan, design and deliver assessment programmes/sessions and facilitate learning in line with course aims, objectives, mode of assessment and accreditation.
- To monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of assessment processes, sessions, and own practice.
- Be willing to travel the Bristol and surrounding area to cover site assessments for apprentices.
- Carry out reviews with apprentices and their employers every 12 weeks.
- Ensure apprentices complete their Off the Job training records on Moodles.

- An assessor award (or be able to work toward this immediately)
- Hold AM2/AM2S/AM2E
