- At Pure Insight, we're looking for a compassionate, motivated and experienced Family Support Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Stockport.
- You’ll work alongside young parents who have experience of care, helping them build confidence, strengthen family relationships and access the support they need to create positive futures for themselves and their children.

Pure Insight supports young people aged 16–28 leaving children's homes and foster care.
Through mentoring, practical support and community connections, we help care leavers develop independence, confidence and a sense of belonging.
Over the past 10 years we've expanded across Greater Manchester, delivering nationally recognised services in Stockport, Salford, Cheshire East, Warrington and Halton.
About the Role
Young care leaver parents often face significant challenges as they navigate parenthood while transitioning to independent adulthood.
As our Family Support Coordinator, you'll provide tailored, person-centred support that empowers families to thrive.
You’ll
- Build trusting, meaningful relationships with young parents.
- Develop and review personalised family support plans.
- Advocate for parents in professional meetings and statutory services.
- Work closely with social care, health and partner agencies.
- Coordinate and support volunteer mentors.
- Deliver parenting groups, activities and peer support opportunities.
- Maintain accurate case records and monitoring data.
- Champion the voice of young parents and their children.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
About You
We’re looking for someone who has
- At least two years' experience supporting vulnerable parents and children.
- Excellent knowledge of child development and positive parenting.
- Experience working within safeguarding and multi‑agency partnerships.
- An understanding of the challenges faced by care‑experienced young people.
- Strong communication, organisation and report‑writing skills.
- Experience coordinating projects and supporting volunteers or teams.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
- A compassionate, non‑judgemental and solution‑focused approach.
Experience working directly with care leavers or mentoring young people would be an advantage.
