Membership Officer (Temporary)

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Membership Officer to join our Membership team for a four-week temporary assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills to support a busy professional membership function during a period of increased activity.
You will play an important role in ensuring members and prospective members receive responsive, professional support while helping to maintain accurate records and support membership processes and communications.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as a first point of contact for membership, subscription and registration enquiries.
- Providing professional support by email, telephone and other communication channels.
- Processing membership applications, transfers, upgrades and reinstatements.
- Supporting membership renewals, communications and engagement activities.
- Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system.
- Assisting with data cleansing and data quality improvement activities.
- Following up membership enquiries and leads generated through campaigns and events.
- Supporting reporting, subscription administration and general membership operations.
- Contributing to a positive experience for members and prospective members.
What we're looking for
- Experience in an administrative, customer service, membership support or customer-facing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using databases, CRM systems or similar business systems.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A professional, approachable and proactive attitude.
