Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client, an international children's charity, in the search for a temporary Celebrity and PR Manager. This role provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to make an immediate and meaningful difference with a well-known, impactful organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of celebrity, influencer and ambassador engagement strategies that support organisational priorities, campaigns and fundraising objectives.
- Build, manage and strengthen relationships with high-profile supporters, influencers and key ambassadors, including the organisation’s Royal Patron.
- Identify and secure new celebrity and influencer partnerships that align with the charity’s values and help expand its reach and impact.
- Develop and execute celebrity-led PR campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and support for the organisation’s work.
- Work closely with media contacts, including entertainment, showbiz and Royal correspondents, to secure high-profile coverage across national and international media.
- Create compelling storytelling opportunities that showcase the charity’s programmes, campaigns and impact through celebrity and influencer advocacy.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on celebrity engagement, reputation management and partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with fundraising, campaigning, communications and content teams to ensure celebrity activity is strategically integrated across the organisation.
- Manage supporter and ambassador participation in events, media opportunities, campaigns and overseas visits where appropriate.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of celebrity and PR activity, using insights to inform future strategy and maximise impact.
- Ensure all celebrity, influencer and media engagement is delivered in line with safeguarding, brand, reputational and organisational standards.
- Stay informed of developments across the media, entertainment and influencer landscape to identify emerging opportunities and trends.
Key Requirements:
- Recent, relevant experience in a similar role, with a firm understanding of partnership relationships.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.
