We are looking for a Research Manager to join a small team responsible for commissioning, managing and conducting high quality, robust social research.
The Research Team works closely with colleagues across the Youth Futures Foundation to support our mission as a What Works Centre.
The Research Manager will manage the next phases of work on two of our key evidence resources, the Youth Employment Toolkit and the Youth Employment Evidence and Gap Map.
They will
- Contribute to our wider research strategy, including conducting evidence synthesis, and supporting Youth Futures’ mission to create, translate and embed evidence to improve youth employment outcomes.
- Design, manage and carry out research projects, including analysis and synthesis of evidence on youth employment and related themes.
- Lead research commissioning processes and manage commissioned research projects, including contracts and budgets, securing high quality research from providers.
This will be a Fixed term contract of 6 to 9 months maternity cover and can be based at our Birmingham, Leeds or London hub.
We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.
