About the Role

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer seeking a pivotal role in a dynamic educational environment? Join our team and contribute to the robust IT infrastructure and cybersecurity systems of our college!

Key Responsibilities

  • Network & Server Management: Support the design, configuration, and monitoring of wired/wireless networks, server systems (Windows, Linux, VMware, Azure, Microsoft 365), and storage solutions.
  • Cybersecurity & Resilience: Assist in developing and testing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, monitoring systems, and ensuring compliance with IT regulations.
  • Project Contribution: Engage in IT infrastructure projects, from planning to delivery, ensuring timely and budget‑conscious execution.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: Minimum of three years in IT infrastructure, with demonstrated expertise in areas such as server systems, virtualization, networking, or cloud technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365).
  • Qualifications: A UK Level 5 qualification or higher in Computing/Information Technology or a closely related field.
  • Communication: Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
