We are currently recruiting for teachers in both Gloucester (Brockworth) and Bristol (Various sites-Yate) to work both 1:1 and in small groups within our unique alternative learning provision. This role is for a qualified teacher who understands that not all young people are able to thrive in mainstream school settings and benefit from the small group nurturing approach that an alternative learning provision can provide.

We are a mentoring and learning service for young people and are seeking a teacher who can deliver English, Maths to a basic level (up to equivalent Grade 4 GCSE) and PSHE for our secondary and post 16 learners up to Functional Skills L2. The successful candidate will work 9am-3pm, Monday to Friday with no expectation to work from home or complete the additional administration expected in schools. You will have free time in the day for development assessment - you will have a work-life balance again!

The successful candidate will be teaching 1:1 or small groups of students up to 4 sessions per day working towards Functional Skills Maths and English and NOCN unit accreditations in PSHE. PSHE topics are taught in line with the PSHE Association guidance and statutory requirements for school with a specific focus on the needs of our students.

This role is for a September 2026 start ideally however we will wait for the right person.
