South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dedicated Theatre Practitioner – Obstetrics Scrub & Recovery to support our perioperative team. The successful candidate will work across our obstetric theatres, providing skilled assistance in scrub and recovery, applying theory to practice and ensuring the highest standard of peri‑operative care for all patients.

Responsibilities

  • Support the perioperative team by providing skilled assistance in scrub & recovery in obstetric theatres.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge to practice to deliver high‑standard care and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Support and teach other members of the operating team.
  • Lead a team within the operating theatre, utilising excellent communication skills to ensure efficiency and safe, effective care.

Qualifications

  • Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
  • Experience in scrub & recovery is preferred but newly qualified practitioners wishing to develop this skill are encouraged to apply.
