Overview

Interested in working with individuals recovering from a stroke in Warwickshire? This is an exciting opportunity for a committed, organized and enthusiastic individual to join the community stroke service across North Warwickshire as a generic rehabilitation assistant. The post is for our North Warwickshire Team based at Wayside House. You will work with a large team of therapists from different disciplines in the community stroke services. Your role will be to help provide timely and targeted care to patients in their own homes in line with national stroke guidelines, with ongoing support.

Responsibilities

  • Support therapists and work as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide a high quality stroke service within North Warwickshire.
  • Provide administrative support to the department.
  • Help deliver patient-centred care in patients\’ homes in line with national stroke guidelines, with ongoing support from the team.

Requirements / About you

  • Desirable: some experience of working within a healthcare setting.
  • Essential: passion for working with people; excellent communication skills; flexibility; good time management and organisational skills.
