South Warwickshire GP Federation is looking to recruit a Primary Care Network (PCN) Manager to play a key role in Digital and Transformation alongside supporting the development and delivery of primary care services across the Kenilworth and Warwick network. This is a 12-month fixed term maternity cover position, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced and organised individual to work closely with the PCN Clinical Director, PCN Board and Federation leadership team to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Network. The successful candidate will help translate national and local healthcare priorities into practical improvements for practices and the local population.

South Warwickshire GP Federation is made up of GP practices across Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Kenilworth. Together we deliver enhanced services for approximately 300,000 patients, while also supporting and improving working practices for our staff. Our purpose is to grow, support, and enable Primary Care in South Warwickshire, offering additional services so that individual practices can focus more time on delivering excellent patient care.

Job responsibilities
  • Support the PCN Clinical Director and Board with the operational management of the Network.
  • Coordinate the delivery of PCN projects, enhanced services and network initiatives.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Practice Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on PCN performance, quality measures and service delivery.
  • Support governance, compliance and risk management across the Network.
  • Work with the Federation to support the recruitment, induction and development of PCN staff.
  • Coordinate PCN meetings, communications and documentation.
  • Support financial oversight, including monitoring submissions and claims relating to PCN services.
  • Build strong relationships with practices, the Federation and wider health system partners.
  • Lead the digital and service transformation agenda across the PCN in line with national NHS priorities.
  • Support practices in the implementation and optimisation of digital tools and systems (e.g. online consultation platforms, workflow optimisation, population health tools).
  • Coordinate PCN involvement in ICB and national digital transformation programmes.
  • Promote digital literacy and training for practice teams where required.

  • Has strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Has experience managing projects, services or operations within healthcare or a similar environment.
  • Can build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Is confident analysing data, preparing reports and managing priorities.
  • Is proactive, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
