We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at our Abertillery branch.
About the role
This is a varied role covering all aspects of veterinary nursing, including inpatient care, nurse consultations, patient monitoring, anaesthesia, radiography, and assisting with dental procedures. It’s a great opportunity to be part of a practice where your skills will be fully utilised and developed.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours across 4 days per week, with one weekday off. The standard working hours are 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. The role also involves participation in a 1:4 Saturday rota, working from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

We’re a long-established practice with a small but exceptional team and a loyal client base. Our clinic is well-equipped with facilities including three consult rooms, a fully equipped theatre, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and capnography.
Our team comprises 2 vets, 3 veterinary nurses, and 2 receptionists. We work closely to deliver high standards of care and a warm, personal service.
