We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at South Wales Vets on a full-time basis. We also welcome applications from newly qualified Veterinary Nurses and second year Student Veterinary Nurses. South Wales Vets is a busy and supportive small animal practice committed to delivering high standards of patient care and excellent client service. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week across 4 days, with shifts between 8:30am and 7:00pm. There is also a 1 in 4 Saturday rota working 9:00am-6:00pm.

General Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
  • Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
  • Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
  • Support client communication and preventative healthcare initiatives
