About Us
South Wales Sports Grounds Ltd is a leading, family-run sports surface contractor established in 1964. We design, construct and maintain a wide range of sports and recreational facilities including natural and synthetic pitches, athletics tracks, tennis courts and associated groundworks across Wales and South West England.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking AstroTurf / Sports Carpet Installer to join our site teams. You will work as part of a team delivering high-quality installation of artificial grass and sports surface systems on a range of sports and civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of artificial grass / sports carpet systems
- Assist with base preparation and associated groundwork
- Operate hand tools and small plant safely and efficiently
- Work effectively as part of a site team
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and strong work ethic
- Willingness to travel to sites across South Wales and surrounding areas
Please note - this position involves working outside all year round.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Expected hours: No less than 41.5 per week
