We are looking for two individuals to join as Estates Planning Managers in our Estates Capital Team. Could you be who we are looking for?
About The Team/Department You Will Be Joining
The successful candidate will join the Estates Capital Team, working with a small team of dedicated individuals, to undertake major new build projects across the South Wales Police area. These are full-time, 4 years fixed-term positions. The team works Monday-Friday and sometimes supports the occasional evening and weekends. The team operates on a hybrid working basis, combining office-based working with the flexibility to work from home, subject to operational requirements. The role will predominantly be located at our Police Headquarters, Bridgend, however the post holder would be required to travel to and work from project locations across the force operating area as required.
About The Role And Your Key Responsibilities
We are looking for two Estates Planning Managers to assist the Estates Capital Team in the delivery of new build construction projects which are operationally critical to the service provided by South Wales Police. The successful candidates will manage a project from concept to handover of a major construction contract, providing specialist advice on complex construction related issues. The role can be challenging due to the wide range of duties undertaken, however is very rewarding upon completion of projects.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
The successful candidate holds an appropriate construction related qualification and has previous experience of managing large and complex building projects in addition to managing Finance and the administration of budgets. Please note, if you are an internal candidate and subject to an ongoing PSD investigation, your appointment or placement in the role may be delayed pending an outcome. Whether the role is held open will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note the successful candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to the required level.
