The Estates department looks after all the buildings in South Wales Police. The Capital team sits within Estates and manages all the new builds and refurbishments. These builds can range from a divisional headquarters to a new Custody Suite. You would be joining a team based at South Wales Police Headquarters in Bridgend, however the post holder would be required to travel to and work from different locations within the force operating area. This is a full-time position, operating 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. The role operates on a hybrid working basis, combining office-based working with the flexibility to work from home, subject to operational requirements.

We are looking for a 4 Year Fixed Term, Capital Delivery Manager. The role is to deliver a significant capital build programme, which will include the construction of major buildings within the South Wales Police Area.

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:

  • The successful candidate would be highly motivated to deliver a fast-paced construction programme of works.
  • Previous experience of managing multiple complex construction projects along with managing a team and the budget.
