Digital transformation, data and technology all play a central role in how we deliver our services from mobilising crews and accessing risk-critical information to managing resources and supporting back office functions. As we continue to modernise, digital transformation is helping us build smarter, more connected systems that enhance responsiveness, improve decision making, and strengthen community safety.
We are now seeking a motivated, experienced, and proactive individual to join our Digital Data and Technology (ICT) Department as an Engineer within our Communications Team. They will contribute to digital transformation initiatives by supporting secure connectivity, assisting with network improvements, and gaining experience with modern networking technologies to improve service delivery and user experience. We are looking for someone with a good technical foundation and a willingness to learn, who is comfortable working within a complex DDaT environment with appropriate guidance and support.
The ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues, follow procedures, and troubleshoot issues methodically is important. Some experience or exposure to enterprise networking and basic network security concepts would be beneficial, along with a positive attitude to developing skills and contributing to continuous improvement.
