An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Planning, Performance & Risk Manager within the Corporate Service Directorate, based at Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters. The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of the Planning, Performance & Risk team.
The main duties of the post will include:
- The management of Service planning, performance and risk.
- Ensuring that statutory strategic reports, which include the Service's Community Risk Management Plan and Annual Improvement Plan, are produced in compliance with relevant legislation.
- The management and co‑ordination of relevant organisational data and information systems.
- To oversee that all data/information returns and reports are prepared, validated and submitted to the relevant authorities.
The post holder will develop a departmental approach in embedding continual improvement throughout the Service. This demanding post will require the successful candidate to work collaboratively with other Fire and Rescue Service personnel and the ability to travel is required.
