How you will help us: As an expanding practice, we are looking for a general practitioner able to support the growth of our existing client base, developing new relationships whilst supporting all our colleagues deliver fantastic standards of care. South Wales Equine Vets is accredited to the RCVS Practice Standard Scheme. During this growth, being an active voice for both client and clinical improvements we are looking for an individual to play an active role in building up our services, and our reputation.
Equipment: Our clients range from family pony owners to competition riders with everything in-between. You will have use of the best mobile equipment to assist. As standard we equip our team with:
- Mobile DR
- Ultrasound
- Endoscope & Gastroscope
- Motorised dental equipment
- Advanced dentistry equipment
- Extracorporeal Shockwave unit
- Laser - Sarcoid Laser Surgery
For those cases requiring an extra pair of hands we have vet techs to assist.

Referrals are simple with the B&W Equine Hospital being part of CVS who have a staff of Surgical, Medical, Imaging and Sports Medicine Diplomats for those cases requiring further interventions and the use of advanced imaging modalities.
Learning: Our internal CPD hub contains over 1,000 courses ranging from clinical, to client to commercial skills, and we offer a healthy allowance for external courses. We genuinely want all our vets to have the support to develop their skills, and open career pathways for all.
Benefits: Our team really find the health cash plan helpful, but with choices including wellbeing orientated options (in addition to our 400+ mental health first aiders).
