£28,598 pa pro rata (£14.82ph) plus 10% Shift Allowance
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support residents of South Tyneside in technology‑enabled care. In this dynamic, fast‑paced role you will work at the heart of the Alarm Receiving Centre, being on the front line responding to emergency calls from individuals in crisis and coordinating with Responders and Emergency Services to ensure timely support.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls from individuals in crisis.
- Liaise expertly with Responders and Emergency Services to dispatch appropriate support swiftly and effectively.
- Handle vital out‑of‑hours calls relating to Council and Housing, liaising with colleagues and partners to keep the Borough running around the clock.
- Work in the community installing and servicing Assistive Technology equipment prescribed by the assessment team, supporting residents to remain independent.
- Operate a 24/7, 365‑day service meeting TSA Quality Standards while covering shifts on a casual basis as required.
