About the Role

Send Assessment and Review Business Support Officer – South Tyneside Council's SEND Team, South Tyneside. Salary: £25,989 per annum.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and confidential administrative support across the SEND Assessment and Review service to ensure efficient and timely completion of Education Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments and annual reviews of EHC plans.
  • Perform specialist duties around Tribunal appeals and support to the Council's Educational Psychological Service (training provided).
  • Maintain accurate records and manage documentation related to assessments, reviews and tribunal processes.
  • Assist with scheduling, correspondence and other clerical tasks to support the team's operational needs.
