Job Description
South Tyneside Council is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner (Social Work Qualified) to join the Front Door / Assessment Team within Childrens Social Care. This is a caseholding role suited to a confident, experienced practitioner comfortable working at the point of referral and initial assessment. Flexible and hybrid working is available, supporting a good work-life balance alongside frontline duty and assessment responsibilities. You will need a recognised social work qualification and current Social Work England registration, along with proven post-qualifying experience in a duty, assessment, or front-door setting. This is a long-term placement running through to March 2027, offering stability alongside varied and engaging casework.
