This is a time of exciting change in South Tyneside and we are looking to recruit four highly skilled and experienced Social Workers to work within our busy Assessment Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for children and families, establishing a collaborative and supportive relationship.
  • Conduct assessments and develop safeguarding plans in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support children and families.

Qualifications

  • Registered with Social Work England (SW England).
  • At least two years post‑qualifying direct experience of front‑line safeguarding of children.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure and other relevant pre‑employment checks required.
