This role supports the Community Operations Directorate to sustain the Social Enterprise Initiative and help make South Tyneside cleaner, greener, and safer.
You will report to the Social Enterprise Manager and work within the Asset and Property Services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of a high‑quality Social Enterprise service across the borough.
- Part of a day‑to‑day team to complete work to a high standard safely, on time, and with a customer‑focused approach.
- Oversee additional construction‑related work while coordinating with Social Enterprise trainees.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer care skills.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety.
- Experience in Grounds Maintenance.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Full current driving licence – required to operate fleet vehicles.
