Responsibilities

  • You will work under the instruction of teaching/senior staff to support teaching and learning.
  • Your duties include supporting pupils' access to learning, assisting in classroom management, carrying out work/care/support programmes, aiding the planning cycle, and preparing resources.
  • You may work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area, including group work or one‑to‑one support.
  • Occasionally, you may supervise whole classes during short‑term absences of teachers.
  • The primary focus is maintaining good order and keeping pupils on task.

Qualifications and Commitment

  • Experienced and enthusiastic practitioner, flexible, hardworking, with high expectations and a passion to move learning forward in the school.
