As our Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for both strategic procurement as well as the functions within our procure to pay cycle. Reporting to the Council’s Director of Business and Resources, you will be an influential leader in the design and delivery of our procurement service to maximise value for money, ensure compliance with procurement frameworks and the application of social value to support improved outcomes for the local community.

You will bring with you the skills to work collaboratively, build relationships and be solution focussed whilst providing key expertise to strengthen our organisational resilience.

This is a politically restricted post as defined by the Local Government and Housing Act 1989.
