Overview
The Community Operations Directorate at South Tyneside Council offers an exciting role for Electricians within the New Build and Major Works Team. You will deliver a wide range of construction work in domestic and commercial settings, including new builds, planned maintenance rewires, electrical inspection condition reports, minor works alterations, and responsive repairs to both occupied and void properties.
Responsibilities
- Execute new build and planned maintenance rewires.
- Produce electrical inspection condition reports.
- Carry out minor works alterations.
- Respond to repairs in occupied and void properties.
Qualifications
- Experience in electrical installation, fault finding, testing, and inspection.
- Completion of electronic certification.
- Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety practices and ability to deliver work to specification.
- Willingness to undergo training and further development to keep up with legislative and technological changes.
