The Corporate Programme Manager plays a pivotal role in South Tyneside Council, driving the next phase of the transformation journey and further embedding the Corporate Programme Management Office (CPMO) as a centre of excellence.
- Lead and embed the CPMO as a centre of excellence.
- Provide independent challenge, assurance and insight across the Council’s most significant programmes and projects.
- Oversee delivery of the Council Transformation Programme and major reform initiatives as well as implementation of the Transformation Programme Review.
- Work closely with Senior Officers, Elected Members and Partners, influencing decisions at the highest level.
- Ensure strong governance, clear reporting, effective risk management and rigour on delivery.
- Champion best practice in programme and project management, supporting a positive culture of learning rather than blame.
- Contribute to shaping how we work as an organisation, not just what we deliver.
