Qualifications

  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Care Certificate (if new to care)
  • First Aid and Manual Handling certificates
  • Medication Training
  • Clear enhanced DBS for adults and children
  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (listed)
  • Specialist training such as dementia care or safeguarding desirable
  • Key Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to dignity, respect, and safeguarding
