Hours of Work – 37 hpw over 4 Days (Shift pattern four days on and four days off, working hours 2.00 pm until 10.30 pm and flexibility required for meetings/visits to attend during the day)
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of our residents and businesses by providing them with a clean, green and connected community where they feel safe. By supporting the delivery of one of our ambitions in our Council Strategy, you will be pivotal in improving and supporting businesses and residents in our communities where they can feel safe.
You will:
- Lead and manage a small team of five Business and Community Response Officers.
- Task Business and Community Response Officers to attend, monitor and gather evidence for enforcement purposes to reduce anti-social behaviour.
- Provide technical support across the Council’s Environmental Services functions.
- Encourage and monitor businesses and the general public to comply with Community Safety and environmental quality laws and initiatives to contribute to the quality of the environment in local communities and elevate where appropriate.
- Assist in voluntary, private and public facing events to ensure engagement at all levels and a safer environment.
