We wish to appoint a Behaviour Support Manager to take responsibility for providing a safe and secure working environment for students who have been ‘internally excluded’ and placed in the internal exclusion room. The role will involve the use of cutting‑edge technology so that students can still access their lessons live while being internally excluded.
If you would like to be part of driving a genuine new, innovative way of inclusion, and would like to work in our exciting and vibrant school, we want to hear from you. We can offer you a welcoming and supportive place to work, a friendly and supportive staff and an opportunity to develop your career.
Mortimer Community College and South Tyneside Council are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre‑employment checks. In line with the guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education, schools may carry out an online search as part of their due diligence on shortlisted candidates. We do not currently offer skilled worker visa sponsorship.
