St. Bede’s Catholic Primary is looking to appoint an Assistant Cook from 2nd March 2026.
- Assist the cook and kitchen team to prepare and serve healthy and nutritious meals.
- Lead the team and fulfil all daily duties in the cook’s absence.
- Follow and adhere to Health and Safety processes.
The position will require someone who is able to cook meals and follow food safety processes and lead the team in the event of the cook’s absence and ensure all daily tasks are completed.
Salary: £25,989 pro rata (actual £14,436.57)
Start Date: 2 March 2026 – provided all necessary pre-employment checks have been completed.
Contract: 22.5hrs per week, 4.5hrs per day – 09:00am – 13:30pm.
