Assistant Cook
Location: Thurston Outdoor Education Centre, Coniston, Cumbria. Salary: £25,185 per annum pro rata (£13.05 per hour). Permanent position. 35 hours per week preferred, minimum 16 hours.
Job Overview
We are a small, friendly team looking for an Assistant Cook to help deliver high quality catering services at our Centre located east of Coniston Lake in the Lake District National Park.
Responsibilities
- Perform all kitchen activities and related tasks for the provision of a catering service.
- Support preparation and cooking of meals for staff, visitors, and guests.
- Maintain hygiene, safety and food handling standards.
