South Tyneside Council is recruiting an Area SENDCO to lead and coordinate SEND provision across schools and educational settings in the Borough. The role involves delivering training, supporting inclusion, and driving the Local SEND Reform Plan to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
The successful candidate will provide specialist advice to SENDCOs, school leaders and practitioners, lead SEND networks and cluster development, and work with families and partner agencies.
