The Beacon Centre - Alternative Education Behaviour Support
£25,989 pa pro rata

Fixed Term for one year with a view of becoming permanent depending on funding
Work pattern: Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 3pm
The Governing Body are looking to appoint a highly motivated individual with a strong desire and commitment to work in Alternative Education. The successful candidate will join us at an exciting juncture on the school’s improvement journey; the school judged as being “Good” by Ofsted in April 2023, they will be a committed and enthusiastic team player and driven to raise standards.
Under the instruction/guidance of the Office Manager:
- Provide general administrative/financial support to the School, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Be committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children;
- Be passionate about education and committed to developing the potential of every child;
- Have experience of SEND, inclusion and children with SEMH;
- Be approachable and always willing to turn their hand to something new.
Evidence of good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills is essential. A willingness to work across both school sites and undertake further training and development would be an advantage.
The Beacon Centre is a Pupil Referral Unit which educates pupils from KS1 to KS4.
