Sunderland Eye Infirmary is both nationally and internationally renowned and offers specialities in Cataract, Medical Retinal, Glaucoma, Ocular Motility, Paediatric and Oculoplastic Surgery. We are looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic 1st level NMC Registered Adult nurse. We require an excellent communicator with a proven ability to lead, motivate and support nursing staff. You will cover both weekdays and weekends., The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and have a desire to work in Ophthalmology. It is essential applicants have current NMC, adult registered nurse registration and experience relevant to the role. A degree in nursing studies and a mentorship certificate is desirable. Shifts are varied and cover Monday to Sunday. Long day shifts are 07.30-20.15, Night duty 20.00 -07.45, Pre-assessment 08.30 16.30, we also work 07.30 -15.30 and 12.15 20.15 to ensure the needs of the service is met.
