The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.
We are seeking an experienced Lecturer with extensive Acting and Directing abilities to teach a range of performance skills from Level 1 to Level 3. The Performing Arts courses focus on the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours relevant to industry progression and further educational practice.
Responsibilities
- Develop module study guides and/or schemes of work.
- Oversee delivery of the courses.
- Supervise assessment processes.
- Carry out internal verification.
- Liaise with external verifiers and moderators as required.
- Provide pastoral support to students when needed.
Qualifications
- Hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and be recognised as a good or outstanding teacher.
- Hold a degree or higher, or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject.
- Possess acting and directing abilities and industry knowledge to teach Level 2 to Level 3 performance skills.
- Experience teaching SEND learners is beneficial but not essential.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of evidence‑based teaching, learning and assessment.
- Be a reflective practitioner capable of developing and implementing innovative approaches.
- Show a strong commitment to equality and diversity, safeguarding, personalised learning, and the delivery of educational excellence.
