The Coordinator - Continuing Professional Development (CPD) & Training supports the planning, delivery and evaluation of the Group's CPD and training programmes. The role has a particular focus on Teaching, Learning and Assessment (TLA), including digital pedagogy, Group-wide CPD events, and the coordination of team-based development activities. It also supports a wider range of professional development opportunities for both academic and non-academic staff.

Working closely with the Head of Teaching, Learning and Assessment, you will provide operational and pedagogical support to the Quality & Development (Q&D) Directorate. This includes helping to design, organise and deliver high‑quality CPD that enhances teaching practice and supports broader professional learning across the Group.

As Q&D strengthens its focus on Teaching, Learning and Assessment through the implementation of the Group's new TLA Strategy and preparation for the enhanced Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, you will play an important role in ensuring CPD activities align with strategic priorities and inspection readiness, while continuing to meet the wider development needs of staff.

As our Coordinator, you will be an experienced teacher with a strong track record of delivering good or better teaching, learning and assessment. You will have a sound understanding of FE quality frameworks, including the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF), and experience contributing to lesson observations, learning walks, quality reviews and improvement activities.

You will also understand how to evaluate, evidence and report on performance, impact and the effectiveness of CPD programmes. You will have experience coordinating CPD, training or professional development activities at curriculum, departmental or organisational level, with organisational skills to manage schedules, logistics and deadlines effectively.

Confident in developing and delivering clear briefings and training sessions, you will be able to analyse and present CPD data, attendance and feedback information clearly. You will be proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Forms, Excel and SharePoint and have experience creating digital learning resources, including video and multimedia content.

The benefits package includes generous annual leave of 27 days plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees' physical and mental health. There is an excellent pension scheme that receives a significant financial contribution from the employer (Teachers Pensions or Local Government Pension Scheme), subsidised sports facilities and professional development and training plus a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme.

As part of our due diligence checks on prospective employees, successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, an online search and proof of eligibility to work in the UK. As outlined in the Public Sector Equality Duty of the Equality Act 2010, we are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.

£39,678 - £47,736 per annum, plus up to 40 days + bank holidays.
