An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employability Coordinator to join our Employability team at Carshalton and Merton Colleges!
The South Thames Colleges Group is one of London's largest providers of post‑16 education and training and is an ongoing and significant contributor to its local communities.
Responsibilities
- Build on existing external employer partnerships and establish new ones.
- Oversee the monitoring and organisation of work placements and employability activities for full‑time learners.
- Ensure all Study Programme/T‑Level learners gain meaningful work experience or industry placements.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and practices and record work experience/placements on college systems.
- Develop proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work well under pressure, meet agreed deadlines, and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives with a creative approach to problem solving.
Qualifications
- Degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject.
- Active and experienced in generating employer links across a wide range of industries.
- Confident, engaging, and able to maintain high personal standards and expectations.
