The predicted salary is between 33 - 49 £ per hour.

1x Merton College £33.49 - £38.52 per hour (Non-Accredited Courses)

1x South Thames College, Tooting £41.32 - £49.71 per hour (Accredited Courses)

Please note that this post is funded for the 2026/27 academic year onwards so the successful candidate would not be expected to commence in post prior to August 2026.

We are seeking to expand our Part-Time Sessional Teacher Panel and are inviting skilled and experienced professionals in BSL (British Sign Language) to deliver high-quality learning opportunities for adult learners. You will teach adult learners across a range of levels on non-accredited courses, supporting participants to develop their skills, creativity and confidence in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

You will deliver varied and effective teaching and learning sessions and develop course objectives using effective course and lesson plans designed to monitor learners’ progress. As our Lecturer, you will have successful teaching experience and/or a teaching qualification or substantial relevant professional experience. With sound knowledge of the subject, you will be able to plan lessons and use a range of techniques appropriate to learners from diverse educational backgrounds, including adult learners. Able to communicate effectively at all levels, you will be able to identify and implement improvements in existing systems and deliver.
