This role involves delivering targeted interventions, offering high-quality instructional support and developing strategies that help students improve their grades, particularly focusing on achieving high grades.
You will work closely with teachers to enhance the overall learning experience and outcomes for resit GCSE students. You will also have in-depth knowledge of GCSE English examination specifications, assessment objectives and grading criteria.
You will have experience of delivering effective one-to-one and small-group tuition, as well as targeted interventions that improve student outcomes. You will have experience of successfully monitoring and supporting “at-risk” learners to achieve or exceed their potential, confident in differentiating teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners, particularly those who have previously struggled in English. Most importantly, you will be passionate about improving student outcomes in English and committed to helping every student achieve their full potential and secure strong GCSE results.
Please note, this is a Group-wide role, and you will be expected to work from all STCG sites. The benefits package includes generous annual leave of 40 days, plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year as well as an additional 5 days Wellbeing leave to enhance employees’ physical and mental health.
